La finalidad de las arandelas de compensación es la de
añadir peso al volante para ajustar la marcha de un reloj. Su fabricación no es muy complicada.
The purpose
of the timing washers is to add weight to the balance wheel to adjust the watch’
running. Its manufacture is not very complicated.
Usando una broca enrollamos el cable en ella. Variando el diámetro
de la broca variamos el tamaño y el peso.
Using a drill, we wind the cable in it. Varying
the drill diameter, we vary the size and weight.
Con un cutter muy afilado cortamos varias arandelas y las cerramos con cuidado.
With a very sharp cutter we cut several washers
and close them carefully.
Con un martillo y un botador las aplanamos con un leve golpe.
Using a hammer and a puncher, we flatten them
with a light blow.
